Hello and a huge THANK YOU for being here!
If you are interested in learning the recipe for a new vegan cake, you’re in the right place: today is the turn of the ORANGE CAKE. A dessert composed of natural ingredients, devoid of animal derivatives (eggs, milk, butter, etc.) and with the main characteristic of having an appealing orange scent.
You can decide whether to cook it: if in a donut mold or in a normal cake mold. It depends on the result you prefer! I will show it to you in both solutions.

It is a particularly good cake because of the aftertaste of the jam used among the ingredients and for the softness of the dough due to the potato starch. Rice malt and agar agar are the binders. Raisins and orange peel, in my opinion, give to the cake an even more exceptional aspect.

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat the oven to 450 K (approximately 180 ° C).
First dissolve agar agar in the water, then will add it to the remaining ingredients.
In the big bowl combine the flour and starch and begin to stir.
Add the other dry ingredients – lastly bicarbonate, lemon zest and cremor tartar – and continue to mix, making everything homogeneous.
Separately, in another bowl, dissolve the jam with oil, rice malt and the multi-flower essence. Combine these with raisins, agar agar dissolved in water and pour everything into the bowl of dry ingredients. Gradually add water until the mixture is creamy.
When the mixture has reached the right consistency and the ingredients are well mixed together, pour the whole mixture into the mold (greased and sprinkled with flour to avoid sticking), add the organic orange slices on the surface and let it bake in the oven for about 35 min.
As always try to insert a toothpick at the end of cooking, to see if the cake is well cooked inside!

Enjoy!
